Green Refurbishment

Following on from the start of the 2024 season when the green was in a less than perfect state, considerable effort was put in by the green staff to improve matters with considerable success.

Alan Stubbings (green master) consulted with outside green specialists on ways to improve the green, resulting in core samples being taken and as a result of these tests the regime of green maintenance was modified with beneficial results and an improved green.

During the closed season work continues to make the green ready for the 2025 season, and already it has been scarified, seeded and top dressed (see attached photo).

We had a good turnout of volunteers to carry out this work.
